Since my last post so much has happened! And so exciting… It has been a long time in the making, and we have (hopefully) gotten all of the bugs worked out… But Monkee’s has gone global with a fabulous eCommerce site! So all of our friends far from Nashville now can experience the fun that is shoe shopping at Monkee’s! Now, those of you in the Nashville area, don’t get lazy on us… There is nothing like the experience of our precious shop in person. But, if you are an admirer from afar, we are only a CLICK away!
Next, we all know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And given the many women that cross our threshold each day, we have heard testimonies from many a Monkee’s Girl who is a courageous survivor! And in their honor, Monkee’s is asking each of our patrons to donate $2 on top of your purchase in store to Susan G. Komen’s Passionately Pink for the Cure! In exchange for your kind donation and passion for erasing breast cancer, we will give you our precious Monkee’s! We Wear Pink stickers for you to proudly display on your car, boat, forehead… We don’t care! Just spread the word and raise awareness! We are grateful for the many brave women who have faced this dreadful disease – including our precious Emme Templeton! So help us in raising awareness and much needed dollars so we can stomp on this disease with our 4″ heels!
