I am in love with these jeweled bib necklaces that are such a big trend this Fall!  There is a feature in the September issue of LUCKY on the “look” and I’m seeing them in lots of editorial.

So you can only imagine my squeals of delight when I found a fantastic source for these beauties on my last trip to New York!  These necklaces are blowing out of Monkee’s and going home with college girls, working girls, and soccer moms alike!  Here is our version that is beautiful on a satin ribbon and comes in black, champagne, and ivory.

Dear Monkee’s Girls,

I have just returned from shoe market in Atlanta looking at shoes for Spring 2010!  Amazing…  unpacking boots at the store but thinking sandals in the showrooms!  I saw some gorgeous things…  And you will not believe the new designs from Jack Rogers!  They have really punched up the styles but did a fantastic job of keeping the integrity of the brand.  I was also excited to see beautiful new designs from Cole Haan.  I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed in the line for Fall and Resort 2009 but they really saved face with some gorgeous shoes and bags for next Spring.  And…  a couple of new lines for you girls so great surprises to come!

It’s like Christmas every day with all of the incredible new shoes and accessories arriving for Fall!  These are a few of the fabulous shoes that have come home with me over the past week!  I’m going to have to put an addition on the house for all of my shoes!

Kate Spade “Duffy” has been getting SO much press – and it’s obvoius to see why!  This beautiful little soft gold moc is made from the most luxurious suede with a flirty fringe and grommet detail.  Quite honestly one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned.

These gorgeous metallic lizard sandals from Kate Spade are named “Lydia” and she is as fun and flirty as her name!  The beautiful cut green stones are a fresh accent color for Fall.  I wore these last night to a birthday party at Margot Cafe with my white jeans and a blousey Sylvia Heisel top and looked pretty snazzy if I do say so myself!

This is BCBG “Faina” is not only fashionable, but comfortable!  And a lot of fashion for your buck with the leopard print, patent leather and buckle detail with a peep toe.  Adorable with a little cherry red toe-nail polish peeping out!

And, last but not least (I can’t take up the entire post with my new finds!) BCBG “Madelya” is flying off the shelves!  I am glad that I snagged the size 9 when I did because they are the hot shoe going into the Fall season.  The elephant gray is such a fantastic neutral and the ruffles are lady-like but modern on that extreme pointed toe.  If you want ‘em, you better hurry in and get ‘em because I would wager a bet that they won’t be here by October 1!

Emme, Perry, and I spent the entire day fluffing the shelves and displaying the new Fall pretties!  Hurry in and see our beautiful displays!

Dear Monkee’s Girls,

I don’t know about you ladies, but my guilty pleasure is gossip magazines!  PEOPLE magazine and USWeekly come out Thursday (usually at the Green Hills Walgreens) or Friday (at the Green Hills Kroger).  And I’m always excited to see our shoes and accessories in the STYLE sections!  So, last week’s StyleWatch in PEOPLE magazine featured layered pearl necklaces – and being that we are always at the cusp of fashion, we have lots to choose from at Monkee’s!

We have several to choose from, but I love both of these options with the velvet ribbon and either classic white pearls or the Tahitian look.  The gold chains and crystals add fun texture and can take you from a kicked up casual look to a glam evening look!

Oh!  And won’t these beauties be the perfect accessory with these new BCBG booties?!  I am LOVING our new friend “Castia” who is a pretty little black leather bottie with a hot pink sole and lining!  Now if this look isn’t a Madonna throw-back, I don’t know what is!  Embrace it girl…  She’s an icon!

Dear Monkee’s Girls,

I have just spent the most magnanimous week at the beach celebrating my 30th birthday!  It was heavenly…  But all good things must come to an end.  And I have to say, I was ecstatic to get back to Monkee’s and see all of the marvelous new shoes that arrived during my absence.  So, tonight after I finish writing you dear friends, I have to make more room (is it even possible) in my shoe closet at home to make space for the three new pair that will join their ranks!

My first love is this pair of BCBG wedges named “Faina” in leopard print with the buckle detail.  These pretty girls are incredibly comfortable and so sassy!  I am going to wear them tomorrow and do a little dance!

Next, I worship these beautiful elephant gray BCBG flats named “Madelya” with the pretty ruffles on the toe.  These beautiful shoes are lady-like with an edge.  And this dark gray color make them a perfect neutral.  Right now, I am going to wear them with white jeans.  But come Fall, they will be beautiful with jeans or black pants.  Ohhh…  Or even brown trousers!

Ok, and finally, these little Jeffrey Campbell ballet flats named “Cameron” are adorable!  You cannot believe how big this zipper detail is for the Fall.  You’ll see it a lot…  And at $115 these fun shoes are a great way to get the fashion without breaking the budget.  How cute will these be with a pair of black skinny jeans?!

So, those are the newest shoes finding a good home in my closet…  I am sure there will be many more as it’s like Christmas at the store with boxes of goodies appearing every day!  Come by, see my fabulous tan, and get a gander of what’s hot for Fall!
